What I really like about this project is how I learned about some things in pottery and how to use the wheel. Using the wheel took a lot of patience and strength. I glazed my pot with a blue colored glaze paint. I also added white glaze paint to the pot.
What I like the most about this project is how the pictures turned out especially with the black back ground. I took all of these pictures with my camera. What I think I could change is how spaced the pictures are from each other. I thought that the movie was very inspiring and touching. It really put into perspective what it was like for the children during the wars. I really liked how they showed most of the children now and their perspective on what happened and what they remembered. I went to the Studio L Glassworks building. It was really cool how Jordan had LOTS of examples on how she works with the glass. We got to go into her working area which was pretty cool because you got to see the environment she works in. Jordan is very interesting and passionate about what she does and she wants to keep expanding her work. Her father played a big role in helping her start her work with glass. She is very educated on her art work. I liked how in this project I remembered to write the words back words on the linoleum block so they came out right on the paper. I chose to write "you only live once" because it really says something about my generation and how we think. First, I drew my design on a piece of white paper. After that I traced it onto the linoleum block. Then, I scraped out the edges to the linoleum block, and to finish it up I rolled ink on the linoleum block and printed it on the white sheet of paper. I enjoyed taking the 10 nature shots. I selected the rain droplet and the tree photo because I like how each photo once colored had texture. I learned that with using ArtRage you can use different tools which made different textures. Andy Goldsworthy would probably like the different pictures and coloring tools that I used. First, I wrote down what I do everyday. Next, I took the 20 clips that I needed for my video. After that I put each of the clips in order in iMovie. What was hard about this project was trying to keep the clips in between 4-6 seconds. What was easy is getting all of the sound effects in the clips. It surprised me because it was fun to take the videos. I learned a lot more about iMovie and how it works. I learned from watching my classmates videos how different each kids day is. |
